THE DAPPER CAMPING CLUB is situated in Talachddu, between the market towns of Brecon and Hay-on-Wye in Powys, Wales, and we are currently offering the cosiest and most romantic get-away in the Universe (in our opinion anyway!)
Just imagine sipping at a malt whisky or G&T, stoking the fire pit that is warming your cockles, and looking out at Hay Bluff in the Black Mountains.
Or, picture curling up in your double bed, under your vintage Welsh blankets, whilst reading a good book and supping at a glass of sherry, or a mug of hot chocolate.
Each of our tents is on a deck, with stunning views of The Black Mountains (in particular, Hay Bluff and Lord Hereford's Knob), and has a separate kitchen and bathroom (with hot shower!).
We have two identical tent complexes - Dapper Camping No.1 and Dapper Camping No.2, that are available from March until October.
The tents are styled with a quintessentially British feel, mixed with a quirky contemporary edge, and use antique, vintage and modern items to make the THE DAPPER CAMPING CLUB unique!
To add to the wonder, The Griffin Inn in Felin Fach is a 10 minute walk away, and just happens to be one of Wales' best restaurants and pubs! It's won numerous awards, and was recently voted one of the best 10 gastro-pubs in the UK! Our guests also get their first round of locally produced drinks free, if they dine there - win win.
